US rapper Lil Wayne could be in serious trouble if police are able to prove that he pulled an assault rifle on one of his bodyguards.

As reported by TMZ, the New Orleans star is currently the subject of an investigation into an alleged altercation that took place at his Hidden Hills mansion, in California, Los Angeles (LA).
According to a source close to the situation, Wayne may have acted out of rage when the security guard in question failed to leave his property after he was accused of trying to take sneak pictures of the star to leak to the media.
While it’s unclear what actually transpired at the raper’s mansion, it’s believed things might have went awry when instead of leaving the mansion at Wayne’s request, the bodyguard went to the bathroom first.
From what we understand, LA police are in search of an AR-15 but at this stage, no progress has been made in locating the deadly weapon since, when authorities responded to calls at the property, the Lollipop rapper was nowhere to be found.
No charges have been brought against the veteran MC as yet, but sources in his camp insist that the bodyguard who reported the incident is attempting to frame Wayne, who, in December 2020, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a felon and skirted a possible 10-year prison bid.
At least, for now, it doesn’t seem like the accusations levelled against the 39-year-old will stick but LA police are not taking any chances.
The case, we believe, is being investigated with a look to interview the rapper to get his side of the story.
