Kim Kardashian is doing everything in her power to return to her maiden name by finalising her divorce from estranged husband Kanye West.
Kim Kardashian wants marriage ‘immediately dissolved’
Kardashian, who recently celebrated passing her baby bar exam after three attempts, is looking to break free from the nuptial clasp of the billionaire rap-fashion extraordinaire, despite his numerous pleas for reconciliation.
Regarding the latter, Kardashian inform a Los Angeles (LA) court on 24 November 2021 that “irreconcilable differences have existed and continue to exist between Respondent (West) and me, which have caused our marriage to irretrievably break down.”
“No counselling or reconciliation effort will be of any value at this time. There will be no prejudice to Respondent if our marriage is immediately dissolved, especially given the fact that throughout our marriage, we adhered to the terms of our premarital agreement and maintained the separate property character of our assets,” she wrote.
The court papers, seen first by TMZ, wholly contradict the manner in which Kardashian has moved since they were filed in late November 2021. Not only has the Kardashian sister and founder of SKIMS been in attendance at a number of West’s shows, including the historic Free Larry Hoover concert, but in a Christmas reel she posted on her TikTok page, a white stocking with ‘Kanye’ embroidered on it was seen by social media sherlocks.
it remains unclear if West’s public pleas for Kardashian to ‘run’ home to him are working but the court papers, which you can see below, indicate that, as things stand, KimYe is not coming back.

According to Kardashian, she has been pushing to finalise the divorce since February 2021, but Ye refused to acknowledge her request.
“Respondent and I both deserve the opportunity to build new lives. Therefore, I am asking that my request to bifurcate and terminate our marital status be granted,” she pleaded.
