Kanye West sent the internet on fire with thee most ‘Gemini’ move ever in his reaction to the recent developments around Pete Davidson‘s relationship with his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian.
Kanye West launches attack on Pete Davidson
In a single Instagram post which, we can confidently predict, will likely be deleted soon, the 45-year-old rap-fashion impresario posted a New York Times mock-up newspaper with the headline, “Skete Davidson Dead At Age 28“.
This, of course, is a rather dark reference to the Saturday Night Live (SNL) alumni’s recent breakup with Kardashian, whom he snatched from Mr West nine months ago.
If you know, you know, but the monochrome image taken in context with the parody headline leans heavily on the theme of The Game’s recent hit single, Eazy, which features a tongue-in-cheek verse from West, who makes his feelings about ‘Skete’ unequivocally clear:
God saved me from that crash Just so I can beat Pete Davidson's ass (who?)
Kid Cudi also caught a stray
As if enjoying the last laugh on Skete’s demise wasn’t enough, Ye also poked fun at his former collaborator, and one-half of the critically-acclaimed duo Kids See Ghosts, Kid Cudi.
In the fine print hidden at the bottom of the parody newspaper, West alluded to Cudi’s recent blunder at the 2022 Rolling Loud festival, where he was forced off stage by angry fans.
“Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers,” the hidden caption reads.
Fans react to Kanye West trolling Pete Davidson and Kid Cudi
Mr West’s attack on Davidson and Cudi seemingly came out of nowhere. The last we heard from Ye was on Yeezy Day when in a series of Instagram private messages to a number of renowned pundits, he accused Adidas of releasing his designs without approval.
This time, it seems the 45-year-old billionaire enjoyed his last laugh a little too much. Here are some of the reactions to the post:
