Kanye West has five weeks to find a bank that will accept his billion-dollar empire.

JP Morgan Chase Bank sent Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, a letter confirming its decision to cut ties with the billionaire and his Yeezy empire.

Why did JP Morgan Chase Bank close Kanye West, Yeezy accounts?

According to the rap-fashion impresario’s staunch supporter and controversial conservative, Candace Owens, the letter addresses Ye and at least two other parties whose names she blacked out “to protect their privacy.”

JP Morgan Chase Bank only referenced the outcome of a recent discussion the institution may have had with Ye and his partners as the reason behind the decision to close his accounts.

Further, the bank gave Ye and his team until 21 November 2022, which it deems as sufficient time “to transition to another financial institution.”

“To avoid any transaction delays, we suggest that you stop processing Company transactions and/or using any products associated with the accounts five business days before the scheduled closure date set forth above. After that date, the Bank will close any open accounts, and after deduction of any permissible service charges and pending transactions, remit all remaining funds in the form of a check delivered to the Company at the address of record,” the letter reads.

In a tweet, Owens, who recently attended her premiere of the tell-all documentary Black Lives Matter: The Greatest Lie Ever Told with Ye, wrote:

“We have reached extremely frightening times in this country. Who are what has landed us into these times is an ongoing discussion which I would like to open up.”

Here is the full letter:

JP Morgan Chase Bank is the latest establishment to cut ties with Ye following a recent Twitter rant where he made comments many viewed as anti-semitic.

The notorious tweet, which Twitter has since removed for violating the platform’s ‘hate speech’ policy, was an escalation of a public feud Ye had with Diddy, who, a day after supporting the 45-year-old on The Breakfast Club, doubled back and condemned the promotion and sale of the controversial ‘White Lives Matter‘ t-shirts.

In text messages Ye leaked on Friday, 7 October 2022, he told Diddy:

“”Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me.”

A day later, Ye carried the smoke for Diddy to Twitter after his Instagram account was locked out due to the supposed violation of the platform’s policies.

In a tweet, the rap-fashion billionaire declared ‘death con 3’ on Jewish people.

“The funny things is I actually can’t be [anti-semitic] because black people are actually Jew also. You guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone whoever opposes your agenda,” he wrote.

Since posting this tweet, Ye’s lost access to his Twitter page and bank account. Moreover, a recent episode of The Shop, in which he was a guest, was pulled after he apparently used the famous talk show produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter to “reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes.”

“Yesterday we taped an episode of The Shop with Kanye West. Kanye was booked weeks ago and, after talking to Kanye directly the day before we taped, I believed he was capable of a respectful discussion and he was ready to address all his recent comments. Unfortunately, he used The Shop to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes,” Carter revealed in a statement.
