West Ink Records owner, Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo has come out in defence of his drastic and seemingly sudden, weight loss.
How did Mampintsha lose his weight so fast?
2019 has certainly been an eventful year for Mampintsha. It seems that the star cannot get his name out of the rumour mill and this time around, the murmurs were sprung up about his drastic weight loss.
Things between Mampintsha and Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” SImelane have since died down, partially because people have lost interest in the ups and downs of that toxic relationship.
At the centre of gossip, though, is how he miraculously lost all that weight. People were gobsmacked when a video showing a leaner Mampintsha dancing.
Mampintsha’s new body was not celebrated by many. Some believed that it could be linked to a chronic illness. After all, his late Big Nuz compatriot, Mashesha, passed away in 2015, “after a long illness.”

Unable to ignore the ongoing murmurs surrounding his weight, Mampintsha posted a response to those who claim that it has anything to do with his health.
In the video, Mampintsha claims that he is, in fact, not sickly and that those who perpetuate lies about him rely on this misfortunes to sleep at night.
