Rapper Gigi Lamayne has turned to the courts to mitigate her ongoing feud with Instagram influencer Inno Morolong.
Gigi Lamayne files lawsuit against Inno Morolong
In a series of screenshots posted on Instagram Storeys, Lamayne, real name Genesis Gabriela Tina Manny, revealed that she is no longer actively partaking in the bickering and the matter has since been taken over by her legal team.
“In light of all the statements and videos published by Inno Morolong, I have since engaged my attorneys to take over the matter and I will not be making any further comments/statements regarding this issue,” she said.
In the letter sent to Morolong, Lamayne’s attorneys accused the influencer of purposefully attempting to cause reputational harm to the Mermaid star. The cease and desist notice warned Morolong to:
- stop posting defamatory statements and material concerning Lamayne;
- remove all offensive posts from her social media;
- issue a written letter detracting all unfounded claims made against Lamayne; and
- within 24 hours, publish an apology video.
“Should you fail to act in accordance with the above demands, we hold instructions to immediately and without any further notice, issue legal proceedings in the High Court, to seek interdictory relief against you for your continuing offensive and defamatory conduct which you will be held liable for punitive legal costs incurred by our client,” the letter noted.
Morolong threatens to leak Lamayne nudes, sex tape
In the midst of the looming lawsuit, Morolong charged ahead with more defamatory claims lodged against Lamayne. While the videos and posts she shared on her Instagram Storeys were deleted on Wednesday, the influencer continued her tirade by claiming to have “sex tapes, nudes and a lot of her dirty laundry.”
“I’m waiting for her to try me again today she will regret it,” Morolong wrote.
Well, lesson learned then, eh?
