The City of Johannesburg has announced a scheduled power outage affecting several areas on Sunday, 26 May 2024.

City Power has rescheduled a previously planned power interruption for maintenance at the Durban Street substation Junction Yard.
The power outage will occur on Sunday, 26 May 2024, from 06:00 to 14:00.
The maintenance work is essential for improving service reliability and ensuring the stability of the power network, City Power said in a statement.
