What do we know about ‘Billiato’?
The rapper has been tight-lipped about whether his alcohol brand was a range of gin or vodka, describing it as, “Its just ‘A Taste of Wealth.’’
Last week, Nyovest gave his fans a heads up about what his major announcement might be. In a video shared to Instagram, he explained:
“It is so big I can’t even believe that it is happening. All the hard work has finally come to pay for me and I want you to celebrate with me as I launch one of the biggest projects of my career.”

Nyovest explained that the name of his alcohol brand, Billiato, is derived from his name. In an Instagram post, when asked by Comedian DKB Ghana about the name’s history, Nyovest revealed his inspiration.
“It’s actually my name. It’s taken from the word Billion. It’s a state of mind. It also takes from culture in a township called Vaal in South Africa. They consider themselves as Italians. So it’s [Billiato] Ghetto fabulous.”
