Amapiano star Busta 929 can’t seem to catch a break from bad press, and on Wednesday, he was linked to yet another scandal.
Busta 929 said this about underage pregnancy rumours
Earlier this week, the VSOP producer was thrust into public smearing when one of his proteges, Mgiftoz Entertainer, accused him of exploitation.
This time around, Busta’s name was dragged into speculation about an underage pregnancy. Renowned gossip microblogger and murder-accused Musa Khawula sent social media into an uproar when he alleged that Busta inseminated a 17-year-old girl known only as ‘Tshepiso’.
Our surface level probe into the claims yielded nothing fruitful. However, Busta’s past run-ins with controversy involving underage girls was not lost on social media.
According to the producer, though, these allegations are false. Or, at least, this is what was implied in his response to Khawula’s tweet.

Back in February 2022, the Amapiano star had caught flak after an image surfaced showing him kissing a girl believed to be a teenager.
Before that incident, Busta sparked outrage when videos surfaced on social media, showing the producer hanging out and allegedly trading alcoholic drinks with high school girls who were reported missing by their respective families.
“No underage drinking took place. The alcoholic drinks that were there were being consumed by the adults who were present,” the statement released by Public Eye Media, on behalf of the producer, read.
Busta has yet to issue a formal statement directly responding to claims that he allegedly impregnated a teenager.
