The famed first-for-SA Netflix Original TV show that sent shockwaves across Mzansi’s film industry, Blood and Water is back for season two.
Blood and Water S2: What’s new on season 2?
After months of nail-biting anticipation, the streaming giant revealed this week that the acclaimed high school drama is set to return with seven brand new episodes on Heritage Day, Friday 24 September 2021.
“The highly anticipated second season promises the same riveting drama we all fell in love with, unlikely alliances, and twists and turns as the Parkhurst clan up the ante on their quest for the truth,” Netflix noted in a statement.
With a slew of shockers on the cards and very little else to go on in guessing what’s to come on S2, Netflix did reveal that the sequel will pick up from the end of the first season with the DNA results that will determine if Fikile (Khosi Ngema) truly is Puleng’s (Ama Qamata) missing sister.

Qamata and Ngema make a return on S2 as the show’s main focus. The pair will be assisted by:
