AKA and Nadia Nakai are coming after Daily Sun and the couple, previously rumoured to be split, wants at least R800 000 for their troubles, according to a letter sent to the tabloid by their lawyers.
Fake news: AKA and Nadia Nakai did not fight in Ghana
Social media was abuzz with backlash targeted at Kiernan Forbes after Daily Sun journalist Quincy Mahlangu published an exclusive, claiming to have received intel from a source about a physical fight that allegedly broke out between AKA and Nadia during a work trip to Accra, Ghana.
The tabloid led with claims from an unknown source that AKA had assaulted his new girlfriend in full view of an audience and left for South Africa the next day. This allegation was further exacerbated by AKA’s Instagram post, where he addressed a woman who had apparently degraded him.

This comes after their alleged fight at Silver Fox. It is said AKA was kicked out of the strip club as a result of their fight. pic.twitter.com/dN9mEbch4b
Of course, an allegation of this nature brought fresh memories of Anele Tembe but, according to AKA and Nadia, not only are these claims defamatory but they are false and malicious.
