Adele resurfaced on social media, following her Las Vegas concert meltdown, to douse fires around her relationship with star agent Rich Paul.
Adele responds to Rich Paul rumours
As reported by Page Six, the Chasing Pavements songstress has been on a ‘make-up’ tour with her fanbase over the abrupt cancellation of her shows which were scheduled to take place at Caesar’s Palace in late January 2022.
While, in her video, Adele chalked the postponement to COVID-19, insiders close to the situation revealed the singer was dealing with relationship drama.
“She and Rich had been fighting, and their relationship was volatile before she canceled her dates. Adele is very emotional and dramatic. He’s an NBA guy who has to go on the road — they are very different — and they hit a rough patch,” an anonymous source told the cited publication.
This claim, albeit unverified, can be corroborated with images leaked by TMZ in January 2022, where Adele was seen getting into a black Mercedes Benz, supposedly chartered by Paul, after she postponed her Caesar’s Palace dates.
It’s believed Adele, who owns a number of properties in the United States and United Kingdom, has been shacked up at Paul’s mansion in Los Angeles (LA), seemingly in a last-ditch bid to salvage the rumoured wreckage in her relationship with the sport agent.
But, according to the songstress, this is all wild speculation and, contrary to the gossip perpetrated by the rumour mill, she and Paul are still very much at peace.
In an Instagram post, Adele, whose Vegas shows are still under intense negotiation, confirmed she will be performing at the upcoming 2022 Brits Awards next week, and will prefix this main event with an interview on The Graham Norton Show.
The last part of the caption is what sent shockwaves across social media, though.
