John Malkovich lends himself as a centrepiece of the spine-chilling thriller, Shattered, that premieres at movie theatres this month.
Shattered synopsis: What is the movie about?
Luis Prieto, director of Pusher (2012) and Kidnap (2017) adds this Malkovich-led suspense thriller to his filmography. Written by David Loughrey — he wrote The Intruder (2019), Money Train (1995) and Star Trek V: The Final Frontier — Shattered follows the life of recently divorced Chris Decker (Cameron Monaghan) who dives into a romantic relationship with a woman of few words.
The mystery deepens after every encounter and time spent with Sky (played by Lilly Krug) and the woman Chris thought he knew turns into the worst decision he has ever made.
Malkovich not only plays the centrepiece role of the landlord, who introduced the audience to Sky’s different personalities, but he is also credited as producer of the film.
