Pearl Thusi has solidified her place on the world’s big screen and by the virtue of her latest stint on Bulletproof 2, there are no indications of her lifting her foot off our necks.
It’s been a couple of months since Pearl Thusi starred in Africa’s first Netflix original espionage action drama series Queen Sono, and already, she has come out the gates with a new title.
What is Bulletproof 2 about?
Bulletproof 2 is an action movie that is centred around protagonist Special Agent Jack Carter (Faizon Love), whose mission is “to take down a powerful South African crime family.”
In order for him to achieve this, Carter has to infiltrate the syndicate by assuming the identity of Archie Moses (Kirk Fox), aa criminal with crucial ties to the case.
“When a meeting between two cartel syndicates goes horribly wrong, the real Moses gets unwittingly put in danger. Carter and Moses must figure out how to stay alive while trying to foil an international money laundering scheme.”

Pearl Thusi plays the role of Jo in the movie, a badass lady who’s known in South Africa’s fictional crime underworld (we wish it was really fictional)as a sharpshooter.
South Africa reacts to Pearl Thusi feature in action film
The movie is currently available on DVD and Digital, including Netflix, but — unfortunately for us — only in the United States.
This is how South Africans reacted to the news of Pearl Thusi bossing yet another international gig.
