Young Stunna is the newest craze in the growing Amapiano genre and on Thursday, his new album Notumato is all the talk on social media.
What we know about Young Stunna
Everything Stunna, born Sandile Msimango, has worked for came to fruition on Thursday when he saw the reception to his album on social media.
His pseudonym is high up on the trends list and as a new act, this must be all the validation he needed.
Not much information is available on the young musician’s background but we did some digging and found out that prior to his first encounter with Kabza De Small, Stunna was a Hip-Hop artist.
It seems an escape route out of the dying genre came quick for the youngster since, after this January release, he quickly ascended in Amapiano, under the tutelage of Piano Hub, an independent music label founded by Major League DJs.
By April, the transition had worked and Stunna was on the road, performing crowd-pleasers like Jaiva Captain. It would take the young star six months to find his place in the buzzing genre and on Thursday, the fruits of his labour were realised.
How to download Notumato album
