These past few days have been amazing for entertainment in Mzansi, Four days after Castle Lite announced Card B’s first concert visit to our shores, the good folks at Rocking the Daisies confirmed that alongside Stormzy, Ari Lennox and YBN Cordae would be making their debut SA appearance at the three-day concert in October.
Ari Lennox, YBN Cordae to make debut in South Africa
Steyn Entertainment’s George Avakian teased the news on Twitter, only moments before the Rocking the Daisies Twitter account confirmed the announcement with a kick-ass promo video.
The two most prominent announcements, Ari Lennox and YBN Cordae need no introduction.
The latter is a first-time Grammy-nominated new-age rapper, while the former is a Dreamville songbird with the voice that could cure any soul’s impurities and a heavily militarised fanbase.
The other international act that was announced is Col3trane, a rising star from the United Kingdom (UK), whose vocal range will serenade the thousands of festival-goers who will be celebrating the music event’s 15th anniversary.
