South African women in Hip-Hop have shown unity once again. This time around, Family Tree’s first lady, Nadia Nakai, urged fans to give rap-starter, Faith Nketsi, a chance to prove herself.
Why is everyone trolling Faith Nketsi?
For the past week or two, Faith Nketsi has gained a lot of talkability. It may be for the wrong reasons but being a newcomer in South Africa’s budding rap industry, you want your name on everyone’s lips.
The rapstress, rumoured to be dating DJ Maphorisa, surfaced in a video where she was performing to a dead crowd.

Granted, Faith Nketsi, a bombshell of a vixen with thousands of followers on social media, has only just dropped her first Hip-Hop project.
However, the crowd was not thrilled by the quality of her songs, neither were they enchanted by her curves.
They just stood there and watched her. Some did not even move a muscle. Others could be seen walking away from the stage.
Nadia Nakai makes a plea for the new rapstress
An experience like this often builds character and inspires true artists. It will remain to be seen if Faith Nketsi can bounce back from this with a refreshed approach to her performances.
Nadia Nakai seems to think she can. The rapstress has already proven herself as a lyrical miracle.
Fans may not think of Faith Nketsi like that but according to Nadia Nakai, the newcomer just needs more time to solidify her position and hone her craft.
Y’all really need to stop this hate train on Faith, it’s her first project… allow her to grow dammit!!! She’s just starting… y’all can be so mean!!! Women are such an easy target for y’all on this app… sick of it. Stop.

Of course, the plea fell on deaf ears because people are just not feeling Nketsi’s lyrical ability.
It remains to be seen what will come next from the IG hottie.
