Ndivhuwo ‘Elaine’ Mukheli has kept her cult fanbase waiting long enough and finally, on Wednesday, the South African songstress released her brand new single Right Now.
When is the Elaine album coming?
The 22-year-old took to social media to tease what was coming last week Friday, captioning the trailer to what’s now known to be Right Now with “12 May”.
While this didn’t offer many hints, her Shining Star mini-documentary did provide some perspective into the songstress’ mood for her upcoming album which, to date, has no release schedule.
“Growing up in a small family taught me the importance of keeping your family small. Being able to trust and love unconditionally has helped raise me and has been the source of my passion. My dad introduced me to R&B when I was six years old and since then, that’s all I ever wanted to be, an R&B singer. When I sing, I feel seen, I feel alive,” she says in the film.

Whether her fans are frustrated by this slow-paced rollout or not, many will appreciate the 22-year-old’s latest offering. Right Now premieres on YouTube at 18:00 and we will have it ready to watch as soon as the video is available on YouTube.
