In a video that has since gone viral, Cyan displayed significant injuries, including a black eye and bruises across her face and back, which she attributed to an assault by her boyfriend.
She revealed that she had spent a night in the hospital following the incident.
Reflecting on her injuries, Cyan tried to maintain a lighthearted tone, which could be attributed to a trauma response, albeit bizarre considering the severity of the injuries she suffered.
She commented on her bruised appearance, saying:
“After all, computers crash, people fall apart, and all you need to do is reboot… It’s Day 2 of my facelift… but it’s going quite well. I love this side of it,” pointing to her black eye before laughing.
Following her discharge from the hospital, Cyan told her followers:
“I’m basically back at home right now. I was [in hospital] for a full night. I got discharged, and I’m all by myself because it was very optional. I really had close people be with me the whole day, made jokes with me, it was just so much fun, honestly. But back to reality, I have to work and focus on healing because by Friday, I have to work.”
Cyan has reportedly opened a case against her boyfriend, whose identity remains unknown at this time.
The incident comes amid ongoing speculation about Cyan’s love life, which has been a frequent topic of conversation on social media.
Recently, the murder-accused gossiper Musa Khawula claimed that Cyan was involved with a Zimbabwean businessman named Marcus, rumoured to be married.
Allegedly, Marcus has lavished Cyan with extravagant gifts, including an R70,000 recurring ‘sugar’ fee that sure comes with its stringent Ts and Cs.
Cyan, who has been vocal about her unapologetic approach to relationships, once said in an old video:
“They [other women] are making noise because they cannot reach the level to demand certain things from men. ‘I come as I am, the table is mine, you will give me what I want,’ then the door is open.”
Cyan has not yet confirmed if Marcus is the boyfriend in question or provided further details about her alleged abuser.
