If you are a fan of the molti-tsalented musician, you will appreciate his slow-burning album rollouts. He never offers the full package (pause) in a short space of time between single releases.
In a flourishing career spanning 10+ years, AKA has — astonishingly — only released three studio albums, with the exception of Be Careful What You Wish For‘s collaborative effort with Anatii.
Is there an album on its way?
Recently, though, Supamega has been quite generous with the single releases. A change in strategy prompted by changes in streaming behaviour, perhaps? Maybe, but we know for certain that releasing five songs, all accompanied by music videos, in a span of nine months, is not random.
Alas, we appreciate good slow burners and on Wednesday night, AKA finally let loose the visuals to Energy, a wavy mid-tempo song that speaks to its title.
