Khanyi Mbau is days away from pulling the curtain back for us to peer into personal moments of her colourful life, on her new reality TV show Mbau Reloaded.
Khanyi Mbau has a new show on BET
The radio host slash baddest diva invited cameras into her home for a period of time and documented her busy life as an entrepreneur, media personality, a daughter, sibling and a mother.
In a statement, Mbau described the 13-part series as a dynamic show that “will give viewers insights into my personal life on so many levels.”
The 34-year-old published the official trailer to Mbau Reloaded that includes appearances from her sister Thandeka Mcunu and her daughter Khanukani.
Why did Lasizwe not show up in the trailer?
Interestingly, Lasizwe — a rising media star who’s Mbau’s young brother — was not featured in the teaser. The reason for this could be linked to a possible conflict of interest since Lasizwe has his own reality TV show on MTV Base.
The details are a bit sketchy and the trailers, as aesthetically appealing as they are, have starved us of a real glimpse into what we can expect from Mbau Reloaded.
Mbau Reloaded: What time is the show on BET?
Perhaps, more shall be revealed on BET: Behind The Story, on Wednesday, when Mbau takes the hot seat for an in-depth conversation about life-defining moments in her life with Pearl Thusi.
Mbau Reloaded premieres on BET Africa (channel 129 on DStv), on Saturday 10 October 2020 at 19:30.
