Meyiwa case haunts Khumalo
Those with a vested interest in the long-drawn-out murder investigation of Khumalo’s former lover and late Orlando Pirates FC goalkeeper Seno Meyiwa will be interested to tune into the album for hints of a response from the songstress.
Recently, reports surfaced claiming that the specialised task unit formed by Police Minister Bheki Cele had concluded its investigation into the murder of Meyiwa and enough evidence was collected to file an indictment against Khumalo.
According to the City Press exclusive, insiders close to the investigation claim that Khumalo has been isolated as the alleged mastermind behind the goalkeeper’s murder that was initially reported as a robbery gone horribly wrong at the songstress’ home in Vosloorus, six years ago.
As far as we know, the case docket has been sent to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) where a decision will be made on whether an indictment against Khumalo and other suspects is worth pursuing.
