The popular singer and dancer, Kamo Mphela, released her hyped track Nkulunkulu alongside a highly entertaining music video.
Nkulunkulu: Is it the perfect hit for the Easter holiday?
The SBWL star had been hyping up the release for the track for over a week with fans anticipating what the exciting artist could offer to the dance scene.
The music video opens up with Kamo pulling up to a church in a vintage maroon Jaguar while she wears an appealing cow print outfit.
This is where we witness a great shot of the dancer praying above to Unkulunkulu (Supreme Creator) thanking him for evrything she has achieved in her career.
This is where the fun begins as we get to see the talented dancer show off her new dance moves on top of the Johannesburg rooftops with the aid of her talented background dancers.
In one of the final shots, we get a great scene of Kamo and her girls sitting side by side on a table filled with food and wine resembling the famous last supper painting.
The song and video were a lot of fun to experience and we’re sure to hear this tune many times over the upcoming Easter weekend holiday.
Check out the video, now available on YouTube.
Kamo Mphela hopes to return with a bang
For those who had been wondering where Kamo had been this entire time, the dancer was touring the continent of Africa.
She had recently been in the nation of Kenya performing in Nairobi before her eventual return to South Africa.
Now the dancer has her eyes set on taking over the amapiano and house music scene and Nkulunkulu is her first step at achieving this goal.
“Finally, I’m beyond excited to drop my very own song,” said the dancer.
“I’ve been working on a project for some time now and Nkulunkulu is the first of many new songs from me!” she stated.
With the release of Nkulunkulu and a reported project on the way, we’ll just have to wait and see what else Kamo can produce for her eager fans.
