Gigi Lamayne returned to the music circuit with her fifth studio album, Set in Stone, a 10-track offering that, at the very least, shows off the Lenasia rapper’s versatility.

The last we heard from Lamayne was on earlier this year when she dropped the lead single Mashonisa, which features an appearance from Makhadzi and Busiswa. Before then, Gigi’s last solo release was in 2021, when she turned in her 19-track album, Mermaids and Stuff.
This time around, the rapper has shortened her offering to 10 songs, featuring guest appearances from:
- MusiholiQ and Majorsteez on George Goch
- Kid X, Aux Cable and Phantom Steeze on iLotto
- Don Calya on Good Good
- Alfa Kat and Naethebae on Fabiani
- Big Zulu and Anzo on Empini
- Vugar and M Beats on Wer R U; and
- Busiswa and Makhadzi on Mashonisa
