Rising artist, Flow Jones Jr. collaborates with Cape Town artists Lookatups and Tembipowers to release his single titled IDC.
IDC: How did Flow Jones Jr. impress?
Flow Jones Jr. is known for his use of his distinct baby voice and he does not disappoint, utilizing this style on IDC.
He creates some beautiful melodies, especially on the chorus, making the listener feel like they’re floating in the clouds.
Flow uses this track to team up with rising Cape Town talents, with Tembipowers at Lookatups assisting the Johannesburg rapper.
Tembi hops on the beat doing his usual thing, spitting his fire verse over the exciting beat.
Lookatups also does a decent job, using his Xhosa rap style to add a nice touch to the track.
The beat used on the song sounds menacing, bringing a creepy atmosphere with the eerie keynotes in the background, however, it’s a solid trap song using heavy bass and 808s.
This is a good song from the three young artists, displaying how three different styles can combine into one, offering the hip-hop world a new variety of styles.
