South Africa was shocked to hear of the sad passing of AKA’s fiancé, Nelli Tembe, that occurred on Sunday after she had plummeted to her death off the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel, in Cape Town.
However, instead of supporting the families of Tembe and AKA, some Twitter users decided to lash out at AKA’s former lovers DJ Zinhle and Bonang, bombarding their pages with Nelli hashtags.
SupaMega’s biggest rival, Cassper Nyovest, also got his share of attacks from social media.
In some cases, some Zinhle fans were even seen shockingly celebrating the death of Nelli.
The constant bashing of these artists even led to them all trending on Twitter, with many Twitter users furious that these celebrities’ were even brought up in such a sad moment in history.
Many users urged Twitter users to instead show love and support towards the families who had lost such a precious life instead of showing hate and proving why many believe that social media platforms like Twitter are so infamous for their toxic environment.
