DJ Speedsta has come out of the woods and released a new single after a 10-month hiatus.
Speedsta resurfaces on the music scene
The Hip-Hop producer and radio host fell on hard times in the court of public opinion. His public spat with Nasty C did not do well with his social currency.
Speedsta was labelled a hater, a failure for being eclipsed by the meteoric rise of the Zulu Man With Some Power, and many other derogatory terms.
However, more than anything, it seems the berating allowed the Live Amp presenter the opportunity to zone in and focus on building his skating business.
Now, refreshed and ready to hit the airwaves with one of the most prominent tags in South African Hip-Hop, Speedsta has dropped his first single of 2020.
“I haven’t dropped music this year, the focus has been slightly different. Been building a business. I don’t go a full year without dropping though! New single this Friday, Thanks for your patience,” the DJ wrote in a tweet
What we know about the new single
Chosen One is out on all digital streaming platforms and features guest appearances from Teejay Mokoena and SAMA-winning Yanga Chief.
