De Mthuda could be the latest darling of Amapiano following his decision to have his hit underground single Emlanjeni available on streaming platforms.
De Mthuda’s Emlanjeni is now available on streaming platforms
Before Friday, fans of the producer had to resort to illicit means to listen to the song which features appearances from Sir Trill and Kwiish.
While it remains unclear why the song’s official release on digital platforms like Spotify and Apple Music was delayed for this long, it appears that the long and arduous wait turned out to be marketing genius.
De Mthuda’s fans can finally ditch the pirated version of Emlanjeni for a higher quality master that, since Friday, has been on rotation on many streaming playlists.
