There is an air of uncertainty that follows the mysterious Black Motion album rollout for The Healers: The Last Chapter.
Celebrating their 10-year run at the summit of house music, Black Motion is on the cusp of releasing their sixth studio album.
Is this the last Black Motion album?
Quoted on Sho Mag the duo revealed the inspiration behind the title of the album that has spooked many fans into thinking that Black Motion may be retiring from music.
“The title of the album ‘The Healers’ actually partially came from our fans. We were thinking long and hard about the title of the album because it had to be in line with the rest of the albums that we released.
“With all the travelling that we have done, the one thing that we always heard from our fans was that our music and/or performances healed them. The journey that we have been through has also healed us, so we felt this title would be fitting,” the pair stated.
No indications of a hiatus or even the white towel were picked up in that statement. We will have to hold out our hopes and cross our fingers until the announcement comes out of horse’s mouth.
For now, we enjoy the music and, boy, have the lads been generous. Following the release of Marry Me featuring Msaki, the duo has dropped off a brand new single titled Trap en Los featuring vocals from Nokwazi.
