Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha have teamed up with convicted prisoner-turned-media-maestro, Jub-Jub, for a reality TV show on Moja Love TV called Impilo: Mampintsha West Ink and it premieres in 24 hours.
New trailer exposes rocky Babes Wodumo, Mampintsha relationship
Whoever greenlit that name needs their wages docked because it does not offer the viewers much insight into what the show will bring to the table that is different from the other reality TV programs on the DStv channel.
Alas, a trailer was recently released and in it, we got to see just how tumultuous the pairing is.
Babes Wodumo is seated at the backseat of a car, visibly under the influence of something, and can barely contain her irritation with Mampintsha, who could not find the words to defend accusations about his alleged infidelity.
Jub-Jub has done it again, ladies and gentlemen
The show is produced by Jub-Jub, a man who has arguably had the best celebrity rebrand we have ever seen in South African entertainment.
While he is out on probation for culpable homicide, Jub-Jub has not wasted a second to procrastination.
The former musician has taken the world of reality TV by storm and coming from a successful first season of SA’s version of Cheaters, Uyajola 9/9, it looks like he is ready to deliver another brand of tacky and as lovers of celebrity mess, we are here for it!
When does Impilo: Mampintsha West Ink premiere?
Impilo: Mampintsha West Ink, starring the royal celebrity couple of KwaZulu-Natal, will premiere on DStv’s channel 157 on Thursday, at 21:30.
It is not certain what this show will pack but recent public encounters with Babes Wodumo already tells us that it will be one shocking display after the other which, in a sick way, makes for great television.
This is how social media reacted to news about the show:
