Weekend loadshedding schedule starting Friday, 1 December 2023
On Thursday, Eskom adjusted the loadshedding schedule to a pattern of Stage 3, Stage 4, and Stage 5 until further notice. This, the power utility, explained, was “due to further improvement in generation capacity and emergency reserves.”
Therefore, this weekend, Stage 3 loadshedding will be in place between 05:00 and 16:00, Stage 4 from 16:00 until 20:00, and Stage 5 from then until 05:00 the next day.
“Eskom will continue monitoring the power system closely, adjust and communicate the stages of loadsheding as required,” the power utility said.
