Here’s the loadshedding schedule starting Monday, 25 September 2023
On Friday, 22 September 2023, Eskom confirmed loadshedding would be suspended for the long weekend.
From Tuesday, 26 September 2023, rotational outages are expected to return with Stage 1 scheduled between 05:00 and 16:00.
“Eskom will closely monitor the power system and communicate any changes to loadshedding should it be required,” the utility noted.
Furthermore, Eskom explained this long weekend’s suspension of loadshedding was necessary to “address minor defects on some generating units by performing planned maintenance.”
Some of the power stations experiencing generation issues include:
- Arnot
- Kendal
