Eskom has published an outlook of the loadshedding schedule starting Monday, 23 October 2023.

Here’s the loadshedding schedule starting Monday, 23 October 2023

On Sunday, 22 October 2023, Eskom extended the temporary suspension of loadshedding to Tuesday, 24 October 2023, at 16:00, owing to “improved generation fleet performance and emergency reserves [being] fully recovered.”
The power utility confirmed that Stage 1 loadshedding will return on Tuesday evening, and from Wednesday, 25 October 2023, a patterned schedule comprising of no outages during the day (05:00 – 16:00) and Stage 1 between 16:00 until 05:00 the next morning will be implemented until further notice.
“Eskom will communicate should any significant changes occur,” the national electricity provider noted.

As of Sunday, 22 October 2023, breakdowns amounted to:
- 13 559MW – up 401MW from Sunday, 15 October 2023
- 4 765MW – down 1 286MW from Sunday, 15 October 2023
