On the week of Monday, 19 June 2023, Eskom expects to keep the loadshedding schedule rotating between a pattern of no outages and Stage 3.
UPDATE: On Friday, 23 June 2023, Eskom confirmed Stage 1 loadshedding will be introduced between 05:00 and 16:00 this weekend, with Stage 3 scheduled for the evenings. See the updated loadshedding schedule below.
Here’s the loadshedding schedule for week of Monday, 19 June 2023
While Eskom has yet to issue an update on the state of the power system, the utility did confirm on Wednesday, 14 June 2023 that rotational outages would follow a pattern of no loadshedding from midnight until 16:00 and Stage 3 in the evenings “until further notice.”
Therefore, barring no unforeseen breakdowns, households should enjoy no power interruptions on Monday until 16:00 and every weekday thereafter.
“Due to the consistent available generation capacity, loadshedding will continue to be suspended from midnight until 16:00…” the state-owned electricity supplier noted.
The power utility assured South Africans that “the team is working tirelessly to ensure that generating units are returned to service as soon as possible.”
