Johannesburg weather conditions saw some parts of the central interior plunged in sheets of hail with cameos of a thunderstorm on Monday, and according to readings, this will be a main fixture of the week ahead.
Johannesburg weather: Hail falls in parts of Gauteng
Joburgers took to social media to share images of hail that fell unexpectedly on Monday in some parts of Gauteng.
One user shared an image showing a ball of hail that fell in the Greenstone area and other parts of East Rand.

Weather forecast for Tuesday 30 November 2021
According to Ventusky.com readings, a torrential current is expected to brush over parts of Gauteng from the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) coastline, with Johannesburg weather expected to be wet and windy on Tuesday 30 November 2021.
While scattered showers are expected in the central parts of Joburg, moderate-to-severe thunderstorms will likely swell around the region from the early hours of the morning.
Temperatures will remain mildly warm with Tuesday’s maximum expected to reach 23°C.
The torrential conditions are expected to remain in place on Wednesday 1 December 2021, with moderate-to-severe thunderstorms likely to make landfall in parts of Brits, Cullinan, Rustenburg and Benoni.
These conditions are likely to be sustained for the rest of the week.
