Nike has, after what felt like a long wait, finally released the first episode of the six-part docuseries The Story of Dunk.
The Story of Dunk drops its first episode
The documentary takes a look at the evolution of the iconic silhouette that has remained resilient in the sneaker market for 35 years.
“A six-part documentary tells the story of this cult classic through those who share the Dunk’s defiant spirit and make it their own, marking it out as a symbol of self-expression that binds the rebellious in us all,” Nike writes.
Where to watch the full episode
Sneaker historians like Scoop Jackson, Jeff Staple, Chris Gibbs and others make an appearance in the first episode which hones in on the Dunk’s debut on “the university hardwoods of 1985 that gave rise to an icon.”
