YouTube has joined Club Quarantine with its very own Stay Home With Me Easter Festival.
YouTube launches online festival
The online streaming platform is playing its part in providing much-needed entertainment at a time half of the world is living under some measure of quarantine due to the rapid spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
More importantly, the Stay Home With Me festival comes at a time when Christians are coming to terms with the fact that this year’s Easter weekend will be spent in self-isolation.
To bring a semblance of Easter into our lives, YouTube has gathered an extraordinary lineup of entertainers who will perform our favourite songs between Friday and Sunday.
” Stay Home #WithMe is a way of encouraging self isolation at this time while bringing everyone together around music, artists and content creators they love,” YouTube Africa’s content partnership manager Addy Awofisayo said in a statement.
