This day marks the birth of Chris Brown. It will also be etched in history as the day he and Young Thug gifted us with Slime&B.
If you had asked us to guess who the next artist Chris Brown would collaborate with on an LP, Young Thug would not be top of mind. Not for any other reason but the fact that the two artists have seldomly collaborated in the past.
The only record we have of Chris Brown and Young Thug on the same record was on Breezy’s 2017 project Heartbreak on a Full Moon.
Alas, we are sure not complaining about this new Hip-Hop/R&B duet because if offers the diversity we have been missing.

The 13-track project sees Thugga and Breezy explore different themes of love, lust and the allures of wealth in relationships. Slime&B is the perfect ensemble for the times we live in where comfort is found in uncertainty.

Suffice it to say, this collaboration came at the perfect time. Social media has erupted in a frenzy and already, it appears that Thugga and Breezy are on course to do great numbers with the project.
