A leaked jail call from 2022 between Young Thug and Devin Haney’s wife, Leena Sayed, has set social media ablaze, sparking rumours and heated reactions.

The audio, recorded while Thug was incarcerated during the early stages of the YSL RICO case, features Sayed expressing her love for the rapper in what seemed like a deeply emotional exchange.
The conversation quickly fuelled speculation about the nature of their relationship at the time.
In the clip, Sayed can be heard addressing Thug affectionately, saying, “You know I love you, right?” Though Thug’s tone was more reserved, the exchange left listeners guessing about the dynamics between the two.

Both Thug and Sayed have since addressed the situation, attempting to quell the storm of rumours.
Young Thug took to X, claiming the jail call had been misconstrued.
He insisted the two were simply close friends dealing with personal issues at the time.
“Man me and twin was talking bout some whole other serious sh*t,” Thug tweeted.
“I don’t know y she spoke on loving other people or anything else cause ain giving no fck bout no h*es or n**gas.”
In another tweet, he doubled down, stating that while he could have pursued Sayed if he had wanted to, his focus has always been elsewhere.
“I’m the capital P lol that’s my twin and nothing else,” he said, referencing his current relationship with singer Mariah the Scientist.
Leena Sayed also broke her silence on Instagram, downplaying the interaction in the leaked call.
She clarified that the conversation predated her relationship with Haney.
“That video was before I met my bd [baby daddy],” Sayed wrote.
“I would never talk to Thug or any other man.”
As of now, Young Thug remains publicly committed to Mariah the Scientist, with the pair often showcasing their relationship online.
Sayed is married to Devin Haney, the WBC lightweight champion, and the two share a child.
