Toni Braxton left a blazing trail in Johannesburg, as she makes her way to Cape Town, to complete her SA tour.

Who is Toni Braxton?

Toni Braxton is a Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum-selling, veteran singer from the US. In her career, Toni Braxton has sold over 67-million records worldwide, including 41-million albums.

The 52-year-old is one of the highest-selling female R&B singers in history. To date, she has been awarded:

  • seven Grammy Awards;
  • nine Billboard Music Awards;
  • seven American Music Awards; and
  • numerous other accolades.

Braxton is one of the fewest R&B singers to be inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.

A round-up of Braxton at Ticketpro Dome

In celebration of her 25th anniversary in the music industry, Toni Braxton has embarked on a world tour to celebrate the longevity of her music catalogue, and impact in the R&B category, with her undying fans.

Her first stop was in Johannesburg, at the Ticketpro Dome, on Saturday, 9 November. The venue was packed with fans, some who travelled from distant parts of the country to see her live for the first time.

As expected, the singer blew everyone away with an eclectic performance.

When is she coming down to Cape Town?

The singer is still in South Africa. She is due to wrap up her SA tour in Cape Town, where thousands of her fans will expect to receive the same energy at the Grandwest Casino, that she gave the Joburgers.

The show is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 12 November.
