Renowned actor and comedian, Jerry Stiller, has been confirmed dead on Monday. The news was broken by his son Ben Stiller on Twitter.
Jerry Stiller has died: What’s the cause of death?
Ben took to social media on Monday to inform the public that his father, 92-year-old Jerry Stiller is no longer with us.

Based on the contents of the tweet, it appears Stiller, after a long and successful life as an on-screen and broadway actor, died of natural causes.
“I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad,” Ben wrote

Remembering Stiller: Career highlights and achievements
He may not have been one for the limelight that came with stardom but his presence was always felt. Stiller and his wife Anne Meara sustained a long and successful career in the film industry.
The couple started out hitting comedy nightclubs and gained fame as the hilarious dynamic duo. Successive shows and a growing audience provided them with an opportunity they could hardly resist.
Since their debut appearance on TV, Stiller and his wife have featured in a number of films and TV shows, including:
- Seinfeld (Stiller played the eccentric father of Jason Alexander’s George)
- The King of Queens
- Hairspray
- Zoolander (Stiller’s directorial debut)
Meara lost her life in 2015 and now Stiller, after five years apart, will finally join her in heaven.
