Remembering Stiller: Career highlights and achievements
He may not have been one for the limelight that came with stardom but his presence was always felt. Stiller and his wife Anne Meara sustained a long and successful career in the film industry.
The couple started out hitting comedy nightclubs and gained fame as the hilarious dynamic duo. Successive shows and a growing audience provided them with an opportunity they could hardly resist.
Since their debut appearance on TV, Stiller and his wife have featured in a number of films and TV shows, including:
- Seinfeld (Stiller played the eccentric father of Jason Alexander’s George)
- The King of Queens
- Hairspray
- Zoolander (Stiller’s directorial debut)
Meara lost her life in 2015 and now Stiller, after five years apart, will finally join her in heaven. These are some of the tributes we’ve come across on social media.
