Savage was already charting high and the obvious hit single in the project Stallion released in March. The last thing anyone expected was a collaboration between two of Houston’s biggest contemporary female artists.
Part of what made this remix necessary was its relevance to the current times we live in. Stallion announced that all proceeds made from Savage Remix will go towards Bread of Life Inc., a non-profit organisation doing great work in her hometown in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
