Tekashi 6ix9ine can’t be stopped. This was the premise of the video he posted in reaction to news of Trollz‘s debut on top of the Billboard Hot 100.
He actually did it, 6ix9ine the ol’ dirty bastard
Drenched in champagne in his hideout where he shot both music videos to his two singles, 6ix9ine screamed off the top of his lungs that he defeated the industry.
This comes after Billboard released its weekly Hot 100 chart statistics on Monday 22 June. According to the numbers, Trollz collected 116 000 units in digital purchases between Friday 12 June and the week ending Thursday 18 June.
This impressive sales performance was matched with 36 million streams in the United States (US). By the period ending Sunday 21 June, Trollz had garnered 1.6 million radio spins, catapulting 6ix9ine to his career-first Hot 100 number one on debut and Nicki Minaj’s second in a span of four weeks.
