The Album is Teyana Taylor’s third studio album and it dropped on Friday 19 June 2020, a special commemorative day for black Americans.
This year’s Juneteenth marks 155 years since “Union general Gordon Granger read federal orders in Galveston, Texas, that all previously enslaved people in Texas were free.”
The day of observance also comes at a time when blacks are taking the fight against systemic racism up a few notches.
