Drake has rocked us with the release of a brand new collection of music he cautiously titled Dark Lane Demo Tapes.
We all knew that there were cracks in music library with all the leaks that have been finding themselves on SoundCloud lately. Whether this was intentional or part of an anti-establishment act of sabotage, fiends like us who look forward to new Drake music were certainly not complaining.
Dark Lane Demo Tapes is not a studio album. Since mixtapes are no longer recognised in music and this project is formatted as an LP than an EP (extended plays are generally not longer than seven songs), we are not exactly sure what to call it.
One thing is for sure, though, this is a smart business move from Drizzy. Most of the songs on Dark Lane Demo Tapes are leaks. Thus, packaging them into a 14-track project littered with instant classic throwaways is the perfect way to bank on loosies.

Some of the songs on the project can be found on SoundCloud. On Friday, Drake took this collection of music and made it available for download and/or purchase on all digital streaming platforms.
