Cactus Jack signee and Houston’s very own Don Toliver has finally dropped off his most-anticipated debut album under the Travis Scott-owned imprint label and Heaven or Hell is a little more complex than a simple choice.
Don Toliver is in his own lane with no traffic in sight. The 25-year-old’s sonic offering is an acquired taste. You either love it or you don’t.
For the most part, though, Don Toliver has garnered a sizable portion of the alternative fanbase that made his mentor, Travis Scott, the insurmountable megastar he is today.
The music had a lot to do with the breakout star’s rise to fame. Donny Womack, his first record label-backed mixtape released in 2018 was a good introduction to his unique voice.
Since then, he has accumulated songwriter’s credits on Scott’s works and other prominent A-listers. His contribution to the JACKBOYS EP was also very notable.
As he prepares to go on his first major scale tour with The Weeknd, Don Toliver blessed the world with Heaven or Hell.
