Somewhere on this blue and green Earth, DJ Khaled just peeked over at this week’s Billboard Hot 100 and exclaimed, “another one!”
DaBaby rules Hot 100 for seventh week
The revered producer’s two-pack, Popstar and Greece, featuring Drake, was well-received, according to the music sales tracking publication.
DaBaby and Roddy Ricch enjoy the seventh week at the summit of the charts, while DJ Khaled and Drake’s double effort saw them claim the third and eighth spot of the Hot 100 this week.
Drake makes Top 10 chart history
A phenomenal achievement it is, considering the unprecedented times we live in, but we suspect DJ Khaled, a documented sore loser, won’t be too chuffed about coming in third and eighth place, respectively.
Drake, on the other hand, casually added his name in Hot 100 chart history, yet again with this Top 10 debut. According to the cited publication, the double Top 10 debut saw Drake surpass Madonna (38) as the only artist in history with 40 Top 10 Hot 100 first-week entries.
This solidifies the Canadian rapper as a certified Hot 100 Top 10 artist. We have the feeling, though, that Drake would be offended by this gross understatement.
