Netflix‘s hit docuseries Don’t F*** With The Cats ranked high in many countries but it seems, Azealia Banks completely missed it.
Azealia Banks cooked her dead cat on IG
The controversial American rapper caused a stir on social media after she documented the exhumation of her cat, Lucifer. It gets worse, Banks recorded herself placing the cat in a pan and cooking it.
“Lucifer 2009-2020. My Dear kitty. Thank you for everything. A legend. An icon. Forever a serval serve,” the 29-year-old said.
Images and video clips of the cooked cat were immediately removed by Instagram. However, the most recent picture on her timeline, showing Lucifer’s skull hanging in a vase full of questionable items that include, a used Chanel No. 5 perfume bottle, Veuve Cliquot and peacock feathers.
Nothing listed above is imaginary. See for yourself.
Banks’ rationale for cooking Lucifer
Naturally, fans of the rapper were concerned. Some have pleaded with the 29-year-old to get help. Others have called for her immediate ban from the Facebook-owned app.
However, Banks, totally oblivious to the peculiarity of her actions, explained that she could not leave Lucifer behind in Los Angeles (LA) since she’s moving to Miami, Florida.
Her rationale was to cook Lucifer and part with the rest of his body, keeping only the skull. Even more disturbing, though, was her nonchalant responses to fans who were completely gobsmacked by what they had just seen.
One fan said, “I know for a fact your house stinks [Azealia Banks].” Her response was:
“It honestly doesn’t. It could smell way worse. But it’s honestly very fragrant and floral in here.”
Is Banks getting away with animal cruelty?
Banks is no stranger to the peculiar. In 2017, around this time, the rapper shocked the internet when she posted videos of a blood-stained closet where she sacrifices chickens.
“Real witches do real things,” she said at the time.
At the time of publishing this article, no formal charges were placed against the 29-year-old.
