2025 Grammys ceremony date confirmed
The Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, 2 February 2025. The event will be broadcast live from the Crypto.com Arena and aired on the CBS.
For viewers outside of the United States, live streaming will be available on Paramount+ and in South Africe, the event will be simulcast on DStv Premium channels in the wee hours of Monday, 3 February 2025.
What to expect this time around
The Recording Academy has packed this year’s Grammy nominee list with music legends and exciting new voices.
South Africa’s very own Soweto Gospel Choir earned a nomination in the Best Global Music Performance category for their collaboration with Angélique Kidjo on the track Sunlight To My Soul.
This collaboration not only brings together African music’s biggest names but also showcases the global appeal of South Africa’s cultural sounds.
In the Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album category, South African flautist and composer Wouter Kellerman joins forces with Éru Matsumoto and Chandrika Tandon for their album Triveni.
Kellerman, who has won Grammy Awards in the past, is no stranger to the Grammys, and his latest nomination cements his continued excellence in bridging musical genres.
