Instagram influencer Yola Ndubela could be on the verge of facing criminal charges after CCTV footage reportedly captured her and a friend leaving a restaurant in Bryanston, GP, with stolen goods.
Did Yola Ndubela steal a woman’s LV handbag?
The footage that leaked on social media is murky but Ndubela can be seen wearing a handbag over her shoulder. She and a friend are seen standing at a table and, before they scurried out of the establishment, Ndubela grabbed a phone and quickly — almost nervous-wrecked — turned towards the exit.

The woman in the leaked footage is definitely Ndubela since she was pictured at the restaurant wearing the same exact outfit as the alleged thief caught on camera.
Renowned gossip microblogger The Popcorn Room further claimed that Ndubela, a mother of two, was approached and questioned about the theft of a Louis Vuitton handbag belonging to former Sanlam CEO Azola Mayekiso, and at first she denied it.
Thereafter, when she was informed of the CCTV footage and other facts such as camera evidence showing her and the friend allegedly emptying the contents of the designer bag before they hopped into an Uber, she reportedly admitted to the act.
According to reports, Ndubela, who has yet to come forth with her formal response to the widespread speculation, claims she was too inebriated to recall whether or not she had committed the theft.

It remains unclear, at this stage, if Mayekiso is forging ahead with the charges since, it’s believed, her handbag was returned to her without its contents.
